This posting for the coming week is unique in the sense that i dearly love this song.

All glory to God who has made us see the end of the month of January,2010.I knew many will agree with me that the world at large have witnessed great and terrible incidents,however,in the midst of all these God remain the same.

The piece is focusing on the youth.It is a form of dedication.As we can see many are dedicating themselves in diverse ways to an unnumbered things, influences,beliefs,ideas,cultures and  social norms.What will be advantageous for us youth is to say as the Psalmist in his song,Psalm 63:1 a little phrase there - "God,early will i seek thee..."


Why should we seek God early of our youthful days ?
God is our defender, a loving,tender and true father. He is the Holy One whose love  we should crave for all our days.The most importance thing for us is to have a constant fellowship with Him and to dwell in his presence.Our God is a loving God.Youths believe this.God loves you.The Bible said "Seek yee God while he may be found,call him while he is near".The preacher in Ecclesiastes said "remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth..."

Who should Christ be to every Youth?
Jesus Christ the blessed Master of every youth.The sole controller of issues of life.He lords over life.Our Savior.The glory of youths is in his hand.He controls the yielding ones  and lead them in his glory.In as much they dwell in him His glory is theirs.Why not yield yourselves to Christ today as  youths?


The Holy Spirit
Our comforter from God abiding in us.We need him to steer us into doing the will of God wholesomely.I call him needs meeter,needs supplier,needs quencher.There is none that could quench our  needs,sorrows and agitations,today, like the Holy Spirit.We have  him in us and we have the assurance of God the Father and the Son.

We
It is now left for us to give heed to and to sing the song with high hope that he shall give us the desire of our heart.He shall surely hears me and you as we hope in him.Honestly,we are to earnestly seek his return,desiring to see his face.As his bride we should cherish the time that we shall get to Christ.

Christian seek not yet repose.

The world demand special care and carefulness as we go these days.Hence i sang this song for this week.

The Lord help us to watch and pray.May God see us through  the journey in the world.Remember you are a sojourner on the earth.The enemy never want you to reach your home,  hence ,watch and pray.
You are in the unguarded hour when you are at ease, please watch and pray!
The principalities and powers of the darkness wait for the relaxed time, they knew they couldn't overcome you when you watch, when you pray,hence they tend to wait for your sleeping hour instead of the sweet hour of prayer.

The  Lord himself we obey  and Love on a daily basis, that Jesus daily slogan  we have confessed to keep and follow daily, he has  also drop in your heart and mine that we should  watch and pray.

The evil one lies in ambushed against you and i,his intention as the Lord Jesus said is to  steal,destroy and kill.He is your enemy, don't see him as friend.devil cannot solve your problem. Pray only to God and not devil so that you can continue to have the peace of God.

You are a soldier of the Lord,do you know that?The world is the only battle ground where you can be a soldier , when you scale through ,God is not going to make you a legion again.He has been making one out of you  now, so watch and get yourself braced up in  praying.That is your strength.

Please don't slumber, never slumber again.It's dangerous. Evils and atrocities committed here and there in this world should warn both me and you.The civil unrest,military threats all over the world should be a catalyst for our prayers.If you can't pray for yourself ,pray for your nation and the world at large.Ask for the supremacy of God, his kingdom and power over the kingdoms of the world to come than ever.We need it badly, isn't it?

If you pray with a sincere heart, all your wishes shall be granted.Pray with a holy heart. Pray along with the brethren.Ensure you are spiritually awaken.Identify your sin and ask for strength to deal with them.Don't join the group of fault finders!Forsake your sins now!!!

I have found out that those who find other people's fault have more faults and have committed grievous mistakes.If you are in such group it cannot help.

Reposition your home, commit it unto the Lord.Ensure you and your home are spiritually sanctified.Let the Holy Spirit guide your home day,in day out.The Lord be with you all who read this.

The Lord asked for nothing from You and I than Consecration and Holiness.  It's just as if F. R. Havergal knew all the Lord wanted and i wondered how this wonder piece of song was compiled.
Thoroughly the mind reflected a broken heart which has surrendered unto the will of the Lord.

I know Lord want  our hearts and here i have put down the song  for  every one that read this blog.Today it is a blog of Consecration. It's  also about Holiness.

The truth is that to work for the Lord you must be Consecrated and you must be Holy both in mind and deeds.Havergal said in the song that the Lord shoud have the Life He has given  her in the first.She is  thoughtful in doing that.Let me ask this simple question Have you given your Life to Jesus as well.She (Havergal) wanted her Life , days and moments in them to be filled with ceaseless praise.You can't do away with giving your life to Christ if you want the end result of ceaseless praise.

I marvelled whenever i sang the next verses, because i believed this woman will never use both her hands and feet to go  and open that cinema door where Micheal Jackson album is going to be played. Her feet will never got  near the dance floor.Iam sure she will  get those  materials in dire need for God's use in any part of her country to send to where they are needed.

What she could think of , she gave God all them all.Talkof her voice, her silver and gold, her intellect, her will, her heart, her love and her , her , her all...........

What will you give unto the Lord today and forever.

FOR THE BEAUTY OF THE EARTH

What a new  week , new  month, new year  and a new season. Everything again in their time have been made  brand new.
God made them anew so that we may acknowledge him as the God..He has made them in his time.The Bible said in Saint John 1:3 which says" All things were made by him and beside him nothing new was made."This God is worthy to be praised .

                                                                  

To God be the  glory for all he has done and for his love unto mankind.His grace,mercy and truth has preserve the race of mankind through the thick and thin.

That's one way one of  the generational bank here in my country appreciates their customers' patronage through the years .IF A BANK COULD PRAISE  THEIR CUSTOMERS IN  SUCH ADVERT ON THE TV HOW MUCH MORE LIVING SOULS PRAISING  GOD  ALL THE DAYS LONG!!!

The God of the Christians is alive and reigning in his kingdom.Him that made all things and have filled  our heart with Joy reigns forever. For the joy of the ear and eye, his perfect work in our life, given freely to our race Christ, our God to thee we raise this our sacrifice of praise.The joy of creation and love ,  that of  salvation and redemption, O Lord may your  name be continually praised.Amen

Lord God Almighty we wanted to say thank you for your care and love.Nobody can love us the  way you do.None can have  wonderful plans for us than you have.For your security Lord God which is sure,Lord we say;

For all these above Christ and our God receive my sacrifice of praise for the new hour , new day , new week , new month and the wonderful year.Though there are dangers, trials and troubles here and there in the past year.To God be the glory.In any situation give God the glory.

Trust and Obey

My assembly where i worship is a very small group where we have the opportunity to know  one another  dearly.I have the privileged of reading the text of the sermon today,but what really captured my mind today  was the sermon itself.The preacher instead of dwelling on thanksgiving preached  Obedience.I was struck.This new year this man of God reeled out that Prayer is not the key this year but Obedience.He said our key of surviving the year is Obedience.

He didn't sing that song up there but it flew up to my heart and was song at ear of my heart.It matched with the sermon i heard this morning and i have to picked it as my song of the week.

I noted something in his sermon, he said that when his wife wanted to give birth to a baby, there was birth complication and the doctor were advising on surgery or something like that.My ears blew open.I wanted to hear all in and out and thank God he said all,however i am not going to tell you all he said ,but let me tell you the caption points.

In the midst of the problem, one of his boss called him on phone that there was a woman somewhere who could help in child safe delivery.His wife was a bit reluctant in going but he  ensure that they got there. To their chagrin, the woman assured them of safe delivery , only if, the pregnant woman is going to eat some concoction.Trapped but relying on God they left there  without consenting to allowing the woman to make concoctions for her to eat.He obey the injunction of the Lord, as it written that one should not follow after a medium or witchcraft and sorcery.The woman later delivered the baby safe and sound.

This year we are to trust only in God only for trusting in man and gods will bring failure, disappointment and evil covenants.The unborn child would have entered into spiritual evil  covenant    which will not augur well with the child's future.

What applied to the goose also apply to the gander Obedience to the Lord's injunction is paramount .We should be wary of our dark corners  sin. We who don't have sex do we masturbate? We who don't fight do we keep malice.We who don't commit fornication and adultery do we tempt? The Lord help us.

Glory be to the Lord  for his grace has ushered us into the new year. Happy new year all. Happy 2010!Obey the Lord. Refrain from all dark corner's sin and you shall prosper.We will enjoy the presence of God the divine,his joy and presence shall cheer us.In the midst of tempest we have him at our side and our obedience to him will make our toils fruitful. Hallelujah.Pray for somebody today to Obey!
