How Firm a Foundation....

How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord,

is laid for your faith in his excellent word!

What more can he say than to you he hath said,

You who unto Jesus for refuge have fled.


"Fear not, I am with thee; O be not dismayed!

 For  I  am thy God, and will still give thee aid;

I'll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand,

upheld by my righteous, omnipotent hand.



"When through the deep waters I call thee to go,

the rivers of grief shall not thee overflow;

for I will be with thee, in troubles to bless,

and sanctify to thee thy deepest distress.





"The soul that on Jesus hath leaned for repose,

I will not, I will not desert to its foes;

that soul, though all hell shall endeavour to shake,

I'll never, no, never, no, never forsake."

Here lies great faith and great  composed song.In the midst of trials i will go out for the Lord. In the midst of oppositions i will do the works of the Lord gladly.I will neither panic nor fear for Jehovah Jireh is with me.That made me remember the word of the Lord " Who ever come unto me i will in no wise cast away. The Lord shall not forsake, friends may forsake, families may neglect but the Lord shall be with me.
 
 
His omnipotent hands shall cause me to be bold, they hold me  through all his works.I shall not fear and i will not be dismayed. Though many have lost their faith , mine shall not be lost. My saviour is my strength.The Lord is my power!The rivers of grief shall not overflow me.I remain on top in the name of Jesus.He shall not desist from helping me and i will never stop  leaning on him for repose.
